Northern Sand Warehouse Return Policy

At Northern Sand Warehouse, we take pride in offering high-quality boots, tools, and apparel that work as hard as you do. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to make it right—with fairness, transparency, and respect for the hardworking folks we serve.

You’ve Got 30 Days

You may return most unused items within 30 days of purchase for a refund or store credit. Items must be in new condition, with original tags still attached. Boots must not be worn outdoors. We reserve the right to inspect returned items before issuing a refund.

How to Start a Return

To begin your return or exchange, please email us a Return/Exchange Request Email at gearup@northernsand.com with:

  • Your order number (or the email address used for your order)
  • The reason for your return or exchange

We'll get back to you with next steps and a return shipping label, if needed.

Refunds & Shipping

  • A $7 flat fee will be deducted from your refund if you use our return shipping label. If you’d prefer, you’re welcome to use your own shipping method. We will provide those instructions when we respond to your Return Request Email.
  • Refunds will be processed once the item is returned and approved.
  • Store credit is always an option—and always appreciated.
  • Please allow up to 7 business days for refunds to process once we receive the item.

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns on hygiene items such as underwear or socks. These items are clearly marked on their product pages. We appreciate your understanding.

In-Store Returns

If you’re local, you’re welcome to return your online purchase at The Warehouse in Sault Ste. Marie. We’re always glad to see you in person.
